Current Projects

MAD International now helps provide financial support in the following areas:-

Cebu

Catalyst church (previously known as City Gates) is a thriving church under the ongoing leadership of Pastor Justin Siao, his wife Juby, and Pastor Zen Jakalan.  In the early years MAD was providing a significant amount of finance, however as the church has grown and the congregation have been giving their own money, they are now largely self-sufficient.

An exciting new project is the establishment of a school at the site of the Destiny Center. Work is underway to convert part of the existing building into classrooms, with a proposed opening date of June 2018.

  1. San Francisco.  This is the site for a large church building which will be multi-purpose in nature when completed.
  2. Sunog.   This is the site of a smaller church building in the north of the island.

A further plot of land is earmarked as the site of a new orphanage when funds allow.

Working in conjunction with Impact Christian Centre, Brisbane, we have helped pay for the rebuilding of a small number of houses which were destroyed following Typhoon Haiyan.

An exciting new project is the establishment of a small 'kindergarten' school at the site of the church in San Francisco.  Work is underway to convert part of the existing church building into classrooms, with a proposed opening date of June 2018.

This small orphanage came about following Typhoon Sendong in 2011 and currently houses ten children.  MAD helps provide some finance for this important project, again working in affiliation with Simon’s church in Brisbane and the local church in Iligan.
